Isn't this a joyous tie? It's perfect for a sunny June day and reconnecting with old friends I hadn't seen in years. (Yes, this photo is from June--that's how far behind I am! But this blog provides me with one little luxury: deadlines that can be blown without consequences.) Tie by Teo Grimaldi, Milan.
(P.S.: My microcheck shirt sure plays havoc with the camera!)

Hello!
I love the pictures of all your ties! I can't get enough of textiles and fabric patterns so I really enjoy looking at and reading your blog. I came across your blog when I did a Google search for "Modules ties". I had just purchased a really cool, retro-looking Modules tie from a thrift store (in perfect condition) for just $2.00! I don't collect ties, but I loved the pattern so much that I had to bring it home. The more I read your blog, though, I feel like you would appreciate this tie more than I would (since I really have no use for it) and was wondering if you wanted to see a picture of it. If you do not have this particular tie, and would be interested in buying it from me, I would just ask that you repay the $2.00 that I spent and whatever the postage would be to mail it to you. Just let me know -- and thanks for sharing your tie knowledge with folks like me. Take good care. Audrey
Audrey, I apologize for the long delay in answering you--I back-burnered the blog for a couple months and didn't realize there were comments. I would love to see a picture of your Modules tie! You can post a link to an online photo, or send the pic to me at burlveneer at gmail dot com. Thanks for the kind words about the blog!
Cheers,
BV
