This two-tone tie was woven in France of Rhodia, some decades ago. I don't know if the
Rhodia chemical conglomerate of today is the same one that made the synthetic fabric for this tie, but they do have a textiles branch:
"Rhodia Fibras, a GBU operating in Brazil, manufactures polyamide-based fibers used in lingerie, clothing and sportswear." So it's possible.
