Ithaca residents were assured today that spring is finally here, because I wore my rainbow-striped shirt with a rainbow-spattered tie. (The fact that snow is forecast for the weekend in spite of my sartorial proclamation is concerning; have my neckties lost their magickal qualities through neglect?) While most of
my "crayon vomit" ties are roughly 35 years old and made of polyester, this is a silk tie by "A. Taghi" of more recent vintage. The only thing I can think of to say about it is, "Whoa."

It sure is SPRING. In fact there is only one last pile of snow left under the trees here.
AND.... FYI:

Its a SOLO show of about 25 Tie Paintings.
Great tie, but it shouldn't be limited to just Spring! I just emailed Jaan J. - The Home of Non Silk Cotton Ties to see if they will be coming out with designs like this in the future =)
What a bright tie. Makes a spring time impact. We have some nice silk ties at http:www.tiespecialist.com but nothing as special as that one.
